Variables: the seed company, the nursery, the weather, the growing conditions (water, fertilizer...), all play a part in how well plants faire in the greater sceme of things.

I have discovered that some nurseries/seed companies are always good for me and others are not. My daughter, who lives 15 miles away, has good luck with seed companies that I gave up on year's ago.

Go figure.
