Have bad news regarding my plants. The pre war (seven stories = 77 apartments) building where I live is having extensive repairs on every floor. Rewiring of most of the apartments has left open holes in the ceilings and walls.
Complaints of large amounts of rodents running around has affected me also. Doesn't help that the park across the street from me faces the Henry Hudson River and New Jersey.... I imagine with the heat wave, my apartment was on the list that had water! My Carnivorous plants have been dug up and leaves on my other plants have been chewed on. Wondered why all the water in the saucers and containers were so low or gone. I am heartbroken. Will restart my indoor garden again when it cools off in a few months.
Will start shopping for replacements eventually.
Yes, I have traps but they are not working too well.
