That is a nice Calathea. I have seen it growing at my mother-in-laws's garden in the Philippines. Our soil there is loam, so it thrives so well. Temps there are constantly warm to hot and humid from 70F at night to 90F and higher during the day and humidity is very high often at 80% to 100%. But they grow it in a shady spot, so it does not get burnt by excessive heat. It can take lots of water, but just got to have good drainage holes so it won't be swimming in water.
There is another soil less media they use there, to me it looks like dried out rice husk, and it also thrives in it, since it makes the root zone damp moist always.
