This one is even older than that I think. Black, heavy, with the receiver held in a cradle below the dial. When we built our house 37 years ago, the phone company said it wouldn't work, but my brother-in-law disagreed and somehow hooked it up for us (retired GTE employee). We now use cable for phone service and sadly that old phone is now just a wall decoration. I miss using it, and often laughed at our sons' friends who would pick up the receiver and then not know what to do next.
