I did something similar with my daylily seedling beds this year, using green poly coated wire fencing.

While it has done the job in keeping my dog and other critters out, and is not visible (from a distance), I have found that as the seedlings grow large, the fence "hoops" have become a problem insofar as maintenance goes, particularly as regards removing dead leaves and cutting spent scapes. I think I may still use this approach while the seedlings are small, but will then transition to putting decorative wrought iron edging borders (which come in 2 ft or so pieces) along the inside edges of the bed. The height of the bed plus the height of the edging should hopefully be enough to deter my dog. ( Crossing Fingers! on the other critters... Rolling my eyes. )
