Yes. Makes me wonder if the real parent is 'Irish Eye', reg 1965 Terry-B, rather than 'Irish Eyes'. It's a diploid and the description of it makes more sense too. Smaller bloom and plant with an eye. Probably would take the Herringtons to clear it up.
