For some reason it took the year off last year. I think it was caused by a couple of late freezes. The scapes it put out just aborted and didn't appear to have much in the way of buds on them. It had a really good year this year. Both the scapes and the blooms have become more weather resistant with each season I've had it bloom. Very tall this year and those long, curly blooms held up against some wind. It's not the fastest to increase here, but is steady. No hint of reblooming. I kept expecting to need to stake the scapes, but they remained straight and tall. In my naturally warm growing conditions, it usually curls shortly have the buds open. I like it especially for the form of the blooms. Here's a photo from this year.
