I also did not have a great success with lavender so far, but looking at my dry grass every day makes me wonder whether I should try harder... Walker's Low is ok so far, but also is not thriving. Magnolia that I planted a couple of years ago does not look well with all dry leaves and ferns are almost gone as a dry sticks. Really dry. I water peonies once in a while and guess that I should do it more often.
