I wouldn't think it would take much work to get some more beds going out front Marilyn. Nice sandy soil, throw in a few sacks of soil builder, and you're ready to plant!

Our picnic is this Saturday, and I'm supposed to dig recent introductions to bring. All of the iris offerd this year as door prizes are also goingto be auctioned off... We raffle off the goodies we all bring, then mark them down to $3 each... Then there's a give away, because we brought so many Iris. Last year, I think I went home with about 60 I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed... I guess some of this crowd would be patting me on the back saying "atta girl!".. Where as my non plant junkie friends would be shaking their heads in disbelief at my iris hoarding, and might already be thinking about an iris intervention...
