Thanks to everyone who replied. It is definitely Leycesteria Formosa.
I used to live in the South of England, and regularly walked past a garden where this large shrub had bits growing through the fence.
One day, I was tempted to nip off a couple of shoots while no-one was looking!
In my ignorance, I put them in a pot, not really expecting anything to happen.
This was 2 years ago. The little red berries which formed used to be Smiling taken by a vole living nearby!
I now have 4 lovely shrubs which have moved with me up to Scotland, where they are thriving.
I am very glad I asked. A great help. I hope everyone who likes it will get it.
Smiling
