I went to Daylily World and met David Kirchoff and Mort Morss (the man who hybridized my favorite flower "God Save the Queen")! We had a large break in the ball schedule today, so my hubby was kind enough to drive me the hour there and hang out while I spent a couple hours exploring their gardens and talking hybridizing with Mr. Kirchoff and Mr. Morss. I was so excited to get to meet Mr. Morss...the other moms from the ball team looked at me like I was crazy, but I bet you guys will get it.
Thank you Teresa for the suggestions of the garden here in Louisville. I will try to get there tomorrow if the schedule will allow.
