Aww! That's too bad.

The ones that tasted bad for me were yellow snow pea pods growing in our early-summer. That's as cool as most place's late spring, but still not "cold" weather. Sugar snap and super sugar snap tasted great at the same time as the yellow pods tasted like cardboard. Both vines were growing fast and making lots of peas.
