A section of my property receives significant run off from the neighbors property causing 26 years of erosion. The spring run off in about 3 inches deep and stays until the spring flood end and then it drys completely out. Last year I pumped out water to my street side ditch and that has helped start grass growing again. Compounding the problem is that the area is completely shaded by 5 mature oak and maple trees. I have searched and searched for plants that would sustain the flood in the spring, hold the soil and brace against the neighbors run off. I would appreciate any ideas.
