Hmmm, not exactly sure. Maybe the leaves are just stressed. I'm notorious for removing old leaves on my plumerias so I might have some of these but didn't notice them thinking they are just older leaves. I don't like picking up fallen old plumeria leaves so for as long as I have time to play in my Plumeria garden, I'm out there trimming older leaves. I feel like it also improves the circulation around my plants.

I do the same thing before giving away my plumerias. I've given a few of my plumerias away already and I've been trimming them so that only a few leaves are left so it looks clean and for ease of transport.
