Hi drdawg - I've updated my profile so you can see where I am, zone, etc. In my zone, 9a, summers are very hot and dry (as in no humidity, no rain). To make things worse, my garden is on the SW side of my apartment. It's odd, but despite fertilizing, my plants usually don't bloom more than once. Makes me sad.
