I had a lot of buds on my DL's to begin with, but many of them dried out and aborted...I don't devote nearly as much water to my flower beds as I do my veggie garden. Most years this is not a problem, but this year has been tough. And yes, I've also noticed that bloom size is MUCH smaller than normal.
