Hi Lin,

It really is a shame it has the invasive tendencies, and for me, that it's grows so tall.
If it would have stayed the 8-10" I would have thought it was THE perfect ground cover.
But this has gotten up to 3' tall in some areas.

It grows in waves and covers plants if not kept pulled in gardens. Shade loving plants,
like hosta look remarkable well under them... but more tender plants and ones needing
sun, don't fair so well.

If I had it to do over again. I would have planted it around my deck, with no other
plants with or near it and kept it in check by mowing/weedwacking it where I wanted it
to stay. I planted some in an area to deter snakes & spiders, and when I moved things around
I mowed the Chameleon Plants down. I've cut the area for two years now with no signs of
it coming up there....

I live on Maryland's Eastern Shore, we have black widows and brown recluse spiders and
mean black snakes. No worries about getting bit in this stuff. Bugs and snakes steer
clear of it...

Should have it on the outside of my yard.... hehe
