@beckygardener You have me hooked on hydrogen peroxide! Have you done anything in the garden with it? I just came home after staying with one of my daughters and quite a few daylilies in pots looked like they were going to collapse. Each one looked like it had a little something different, but the crowns / roots on some were going. I took a cup of hydrogen peroxide to 2 qts water. And started pouring it over them to help the crowns. What they all had in common pill bugs and earwigs infestation. This is not the first time, they were eating the crowns to make it rot. Here we do not get iris borers but pill bugs will eat an iris rhizome. Ants, earwigs and pill bugs literally hundreds came out as I poured the mixture over and over the daylilies. It was like acid rain to them!!!! I cleaned up the daylilies and will have to wait and see. I think I am going to start regularly spraying all my daylilies and roses. I would be curious too if it will help with leaf miners. Please tell me all you know!
Many blessings for a joyful and safe week!
One to take to heart....1 John 4 ..............................................Where there is smoke...there is fire...in most cases the smoke will kill you long before the fire consumes you. Beware of smoke screens! Freedom is not free and when those who have not paid the price or made the sacrifice...think that only they are right and entitled to speak...they bring us tryanny.
