Last year 2015 I moved into a new place. It was a blank slate for putting in flower gardens and a raised vegetable garden with great southern exposure. I had a bumper crop of vegetables and it was great! I handled the massive amounts of pillbugs, earwigs and centapeeds buy sprinkling borax around and havent had a problem this year. Last year the only aphids I had were on my one rose bush. But was able to eliminate them with soap and water spray. THIS YEAR the aphids and white flies are on EVERYTHING! I've been spraying soap and water but the white flies just fly off (and land on another plant) the aphids keep coming back everyday. I've even damaged my own plants trying out different variations of on line "potions" to rid my garden of them. I bought Neem Oil from Amazon. And thats working slowly, very slowly.
Here's my QUESTION: Has anyone used a product called Azasole? You water it around your plants, the roots take it up and I tricks the bugs into thinking it's a Neem tree. I think that means it's a systemic pesticide? Is anyone else having this problem this year? Anyone have a better solution than spraying water and insecticidal soaps. Your answer need not be organic only! I've been so unhappy chasing and worrying about these darn aphids and white flies. They killed my cucumbers, one of my giant pumpkins, the zucchini and an array of young seedlings not to mention the flowers that are misshapen and ugly.
