Greetings, My zeolite was delivered yesterday, and today I planted 8 seeds in a mix consisting of equal parts zeolite, pumice and #2 cherrystone. The pots are in a covered seed tray on a heating pad.
Ken, the mesh pot is in a saucer of diluted 9-3-6 fertilizer and the perlite/cherrystone wicks up the water. I think that gives them air and water without the roots rotting. Again I am just experimenting.
