Oh My! Absolutely not! I am most active in the North American Rock Garden Society (NARGS), which is the American counterpart of the British Alpine Garden Society (AGS). I write several articles a year for our Minnesota Chapter newsletter, donate 200-300 plants to the two yearly plant sales, I am the plant sales organizer, past vice chair and chapter chair, and I am a moderator for the National organization's forum web site ( http://nargs.org/smf/index.php ). The functions I mention are things like we are speakers at other garden clubs, participate in society fairs, or do classes on making styrofoam troughs. (A society fair is when an orgaization [like an arboretum or a nursery]
