Is there a critter in your yard/garden space that you consider a friend?? You know the one.....you always tell it "Hi" and "How ya doin' today?" "Be careful now, the dog/cat is out" "Need a drink?" as you water and send a gentle mist in it's direction. Well....meet Buddy, an adult five lined skink AKA blue tailed skink. Buddy is my friend. He/she loves to survey the world from the top of the ladder that lives on the patio in case I need it. Buddy also likes to greet me at the front door...actually anywhere near or on the side of the house....managed to get IN the screen room not too long ago Blinking looked right purt streatched out on one of the aluminum rails, but oh my...put me in panic mode afraid the dogs would get him/her. Buddy was not happy with my efforts to get him/her back outside, but I had no choice....after all, Buddy is my FRIEND Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Who's yours??
