Columbine seeds need a minimum of 3 weeks in the cold. I planted my seeds in a few pots then stuck them in the refrigerator. Other times I just put the packet in the refrigerator for 3 weeks before planting out in their permanent spot. It can take up to a month before they sprout so don't give up watering them. If they don't germinate this year there is still a good chance they will in the spring after getting their required coldness over the winter.

It would be nice to know where you are located. I think you have to go back to your profile to add that.
