I am sure I can get back a stem bulblet from my neighbor for that one. He is currently feeling the "scourge" of the bulbils from the ubiquitous tiger lilies in his garden. He asked me the other day if it would hurt if he just cut them all down before the bulbils are produced. I think in the future he will eventually pull out all of them. (Yay!)

Yes, there are a few secondary buds in that first pic. Interesting though, that they are not all on the lowest "branches". That particular plant is 8ft tall. I had to get a step ladder to do pollinating!

It's only 3ft high, but extremely stocky, and as you can see, compact yet open just enough to show the individual flowers off. A perfect form.
