It's not easy to import plants, J. But it sure would be of interest to lots of us if you can post some pictures of those roses for us? That way we can tell you more about whether these are rare varieties or not.

As of yet, the most "blue" rose I've ever seen has been a sort of grey/mauve color. Other than that, people all over have been experimenting with using dye to make flowers of unusual colors. Those electric blue orchids you see in grocery stores are examples. They would naturally bloom white or pink in most cases.
