it should be said that you can also cut or break off a pad and stick it in the dirt to get a new plant they root very easily and it will save you a few years to get flowers on the new plant vs from seed. collecting seeds as a form of propagation for cactus is only good if hybridizing them with other cactus to get different flowers. Thumbs up
