I usually try to keep out of things like this but since I was one of the "other people" who responded I just want to say that I can't see that anything I said would have caused someone to get upset and leave. Dawne also did ask it was OK to post the link to her portfolio. I think she didn't understand that the thumbnails are cropped and clickable and so was trying to show the larger picture via the website. Some photo hosting websites do offer items for sale, I don't know if it's an option to not show that on that one. I for one am glad that she took the trouble to try and identify the plants. There are far too many daylilies labeled lily on the web already
Being one who prefers, initially at least, to give the benefit of the doubt I did see
"I checked out the link you provided and it seems to me that you are not so much interested in plants and gardening as you are in selling T-shirts and other items with images of plants..." as somewhat unwelcoming. You may be right for all I know but we'd have found out eventually anyway.
