I definitely agree ! As far as I know , EVERY state has an "Extension Program", and the "diagnostic" tests are "cheap".....for the cost of replacing two, or three rhizomes, you'll find out just WHAT kind of problems you're dealing with, AND get recommendations on how to treat them !! I "self-diagnosed" my problems as Botrytis....and, I was correct....BUT, I DIDN'T catch the OTHER fungal rot that was the REAL "killer"
!! It's money and time well spent , to contact your County Extension Agent, and get some samples sent in
