@ediblelandscapingsc Daniel, the Adam's Needle (Yucca filamentosa) will grow in your area ... they are apparently hardy even to zone 4 according to the database! Only thing about that one is the dagger like pointed ends. Ouch! They are really dangerous! A couple apparently grow in S.C. https://commons.wikimedia.org/...

Spanish Bayonet (Yucca aloifolia)

The common name "Spanish Bayonet" fits perfectly .... oooh, those sharp points! Back in 1975 we dug out tons of low growing Y. filamentosa from our yard because of those dangerous pointed tips.
