I understand. I think there was some post in this thread discussing the difficulty of starting a breeding experiment with one F1 parent, so I looked for an OP white variety and found just one. Other white marigolds MAY be OP, but not all seed vendors say whether a seed variety is OP, F1, or something mixed like F2 petunias. Bums!
