Gita, I'm glad your neighbor wasn't badly hurt. I love your 'Maya' brug, sure hope the main plant bounces back for you.

I'm also one of the apparently rare people who don't mind kids walking throught the yard (Martina is another)... but I have had to discourage off-road biking through the garden. Usually if I ask them to stick with a certain path or trajectory, it works out... and some strategically placed brush piles have helped as well!

I need to do that "walk around with pen & paper" thing, too. Waiting for the heat wave to break so it's easier to poke around and pot up bits and pieces.
