I'm with you Ken, I do love that warm fuzzy feeling and good sleeping that comes with Nyquil. I rarely get a cold, it's probably been 10 or 15 years now. If I can't sleep though, I have been known to take small hit off that bottle of Nyquil.

I always had Vicks rubbed under my nose and on my chest when I was sick as a kid. My father used to basically eat the stuff, he put it in his mouth and said it cleared his nose. I love the smell and still use it fairly often. One of the lesser uses of Vicks is most cops keep one of those tiny cans in their pocket or their car. If there is a bad smell, anything from old drunks who pooped themselves to a dead body, then a little Vicks under your nose will keep you from heaving and embarrassing yourself. I used to get bronchitis as a kid and remember the hot plate with a pan of water and Vicks in it put by my bed with a towel over my head so I was surrounded by the fumes.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
