I just realized if I unscrew the lid I have a funnel! getting sand & gravel where I want in a planter is less messy and more accurate. I haven't made a big one yet, only a small one from a plastic water bottle (amazing how you don't have things when you need them huh?) My daughter drinks something that looks something like Gater-aid which uses thicker plastic that I want to recycle to make a small scoop.
