We have several celery plants this year, our first time to try this vegetable. With the prolonged hot spell, all but one plant are yellow and stunted. Since we are now at the end of July, is it possible to cut these stunted ones back to encourage new growth for a fall harvest? My husband keeps the plants watered and fertilized, and they are in an area that is shaded by late afternoon. You advice is appreciated! Thanks!
