This is a question I have in mind from long time.

Almost all of my daylilies grow slanting. They tend to slant like Pisa's Tower. If you don't know about this tower I'm showing you a picture so we can all laugh together. It's a superb tower in one of the most beautiful places in Italy but the ground under it had a bit of problem so it's leaning on one side. Guess what, the soil under it is clay Green Grin!

Anywho, the most part of my daylilies don't grow straight, fans, scapes, all are inclined. Even the smallest one. I always thought it's a lack of space for roots and how they find their settling, but now that I wrote about Pisa's Tower I may think to soil too.

What do you think about it? Thank You!
