Thanks. It does look much like some type of russelia, but there was no arch to the stems at all - they just hung straight down all neat and tidy - two words that would never be used to describe Russelia equisetiformis!
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much info out there on more than just a few Rusellia types - none of which fit this plant. This gives me some direction, though!
