I still don't have the right conditions to grow pitchers (and keep them from dying off before they fully form) but I definitely have seen even the 1" tall pitcher plants making pitchers. Yes they're cute! Maybe they need less of the same conditions because they are smaller, and can handle things being a little bit less ideal for longer periods of time.
