It really depends on the cultivar, though Ginny. I lived in Salt Lake for 21 years before moving to Florida and grew some really spectacular daylilies. But as with the two above, some worked and some didn't. The Red Butte botanical garden in Salt Lake has a huge assortment of absolutely wonderful daylilies.
