We have a large pepper tree in our front yard. We have been trying to grow grass on that side of the yard without success. We recently heard that the Hawaiian Pepper Tree's peppers have oils that cause the grass to die off. Is this true? We thought the cause could be depleted soil so we are in the process of rejuvenating it but the above question concerns us. Is there any information you can provide?

Sincerely,

Renee
