Elaine: No, she didn't get the original mother plant. Sorry that was confusing, the main plant was the mother to the pup that died. Neither of them has ever bloomed. She never leaves it outside for long so I don't think it was too much sun. I really think it was the watering. Thank you all for your advice. I really like this site!
