My sister is a vegetarian and she says she can usually find something she can eat at restaurants and such, but maybe being vegan it's different. About Dixie, hope she didn't bite into an electrical cord. Had it happen with an older kitten of mine once...he recovered eventually, but in the meantime, eating sure was a problem!
