Hm, I think I'd just take it out to the back 40 and hose it off thoroughly, then dust the roots with cinnamon before re-potting.

It might not be anything that will affect the orchid, but better to be safe. I had one that started up with something like that, but it disappeared as soon as the sun got at it, and the surface of the medium dried out.
