Hello,i have had this plant in my garden (in a pot) for years,i was told it was a betle nut plant but cannot find anything like it over the internet.
It quite hard to explain but i will try.The plant dies away after it has fruited, the next late spring the leaves push through the earth like the letter V upside down there is a bud in the middle of the leaves that produce a white flower, when the plant gets bigger the flowers turn into green then red seed pods or fruit ,then the leaves die off and the pods ripen.
I have 2 photos one of the leaves that have not produced a flower the other with the seed pods and dying leaves.
Thank you very much hope some one can tell me what it is.
