Not salvia but close Smiling ...in same order but different family...Phrymacae (lopseed family)! It is Phryma leptostachya (American Lopseed).

I moved here (little patch in Appalachians) about 5 yrs ago. Previous owners completely decimated native flora....well, I thought they had but I keep finding new species and I am somewhat obsessive about discovering their identities...I am not an expert so this one took me awhile!
