Thanks for the input Stush.
I thought it to be a Huernia from the shape.
The flower is star like so I can see the possibility of a Hybrid.
Probably will never find a name so i now have a beautiful noid.
I do not even remember who gave me the cutting it was so many years ago.
A very slow grower.
I love the Stapelias, especially the Giant Star.
My favorite for many years has been S. leendertzii "Burgandy Bell"
It never opens flat and has a great odor LOL
