I picked up my "grab bag" of irises from Presby Memorial Iris Gardens (
http://presbyirisgardens.org/w...) two weeks ago and am looking forward to next year to see what they look like! They usually have their grab bag sale each July/August, but didn't have it last year, in order to prepare the beds for the American Iris Society National Convention. The grab bags contain 8+ unidentified bearded rhizomes which have been pulled from some of the historic beds which contain iris from the 1930s and 1940s. It's nice to have a surprise!
