Well, I've been comparing the moisture I feel with my finger, and with the weight of the pot, to the meter, and they match pretty well. I haven't tried Baja-Costero's idea yet, but I will. I've just been too depressed to go out and get the saucers. I'm planning on doing that this weekend. Will let you know how it goes.
