I think those are valid points, and more important points.
"Gaming the system" is probably a minus for most people, though it sounds kind of fun to me.

I know what you mean. I'm embarrassed when I list a general interest in a wish list, then someone packs some seeds especially for me, yet the general interest was not enough to make those packets a high priority for me ... fortunately, they mostly remained available until I got or lost all my 5-star and 4-star choices.
