Also -- don't forget -- in the TB genus, there are early bloomers, mid-season bloomers, and late bloomers. It is very possible that even if the early or mid-season Irises don't bloom, the late bloomers still will. And it happens to me frequently that I think a given Iris is not going to bloom and a day or two later, a bloom-stalk is shooting up. They can develop them very fast.
