There is some variance within a zone of how long your growing season is. That first frost often gets them here, but I have had re-bloom on Immortality, Earl of Essex, Harvest of Memories, and once on Jennifer Rebecca. it just depends on how early that first frost is.

That's been my thinking , as well, Tom.....the number of "frost free" days is what matters. And, it's 'better" to start early (early blooming medians, and "E", or "VE" TB's), than to expect the 'late spring" bloomers to come again. For the last several years, my "re bloom" season has been longer (# of days) than my "spring season".....you have to "pick your plants", as well as "treat" them a bit differently. Lucy pointed out the Winterberry site, and, I, too, think that anyone who's really interested in seeing rebloom needs to read all the info that site has to offer. Another 'good investment" (IMHO) is a copy (or better yet, a membership) of the "Reblooming Iris Recorder", from the Rebl00ming Iris Society
